Look up the structure for "Best" in databases which contain Japanese patents (can also be done in constant time). Either they are there or there aren't any.
Japanese patents which claim the diazepam structure are found in Infochem's Spresi95 database. (spresi95 excerpt).
Results (patent references in this case) can be displayed to the user without ever showing the structure (SMILES). Even so, structural indexing is essential to chemical information processing.
