This is a brief overview of our development effort and how and why we have integrated the Daylight toolkit into our class library. We were also going to give a brief overview of a few applications.

• reagent selection - this is very much like Geoff Skillman's UCSELECT so I may skip it.

• web based database searching - this is a really nice example where matt tied together thor and the RS3 system from Oxford molecular using CGI, Perl, and the ChemDraw plugin.

• library design - another nice integration example. This uses CGI, some toolkit functions and the ChemDraw plugin.
