Ideas inspired by the work of the Chemical Exchange (CEX) group.
Datatypes definition doesn't include identifer concept:
A datatype, e.g. SMILES, will be defined independently of whether it is an identifier or not. E.g. NAM, $NAM are the same, SMI, $SMI are the same. '$' and '/' Indications
These affect the use of the datatype, not the meaning.
- '$' means "dataitem is an identifier"
- '/' means "dataitem is cross-referenced (but not an identifier)"
Datatype "Def Before Ref"
- Datatype definitions included in TDT streams.
- "Defined before referenced"
