Several changes to THOR and Merlin will allow Thor databases to work from CD-ROMs. CD-ROMs use the ISO-9660 file system, which is very restrictive.
Read-only databases
- Any database that is on a read-only medium (e.g. a CD-ROM) is automatically considered read-only.
Suffix list
- New options provide a list of legal suffix names, e.g.
".THOR .thor .THO .tho"
Relative paths
- The
.THOR
file can contain relative filenames, e.g."medchem96demo.DP" "../thordb/medchem96demo_datatypes.thor"
