Senomyx
At Senomyx we use one database, and Daycart, to track all aspects of our drug discovery cycle. The extent and complexity of the data being tracked presents challenges when creating storage, query and reporting tools. To achieve our data storage and reporting goals we have developed a unique data structure and flexible tools that allow the scientist to store and display data to fit their needs. Although the underlying structure of our database is highly complex, we have hidden this from the end user, presenting users with Simple Tools for storing and retrieving data.
I will present some of the key components that make our system function, and give detail on the data structure that enables storage and retrieval of complex and unforeseen data.
