Conclusion
- We have altered JavaGrins to run on all browsers with the Java Plugin
- We have made a JavaGrins application for Windows
- We plan to release an ActiveX control for JavaGrins
- We have developed Java Servlet/JSP applications, as an extension for daycgi.
The applications separate data from presentation and allow the end-user
to customize presentation to their requirements
- Depending on user feedback, we may release this as a product along with
an associated JSP toolkit for use in web development with Daylight
- We have also developed smi2vml, as an alternative method of generating
molecular depictions. The generated depictions can be manipulated without
loss of precision, using standard PC software
- As these are developments to be possibly introduced in Release 4.8x, we
hope to be able to alter these
improvements based on feedback from you. Feel free to
email me any
comments or suggestions
We hope the above developments will lead to new ways of using and integrating
our software.
