Object Synopsis

fieldtype -- an object representing one datafield's type

Description

A fieldtype object represents the definition of one field of a datatype definition. Each datatype object contains as many child fieldtype objects as the number of fields in the datatype object.

A fieldtype object can be queried for the various properties associated with the datatype definition, e.g. verbose tag, normalizations, etc.
