Object Synopsis

database -- object representing a THOR database

Description

A database object represents a THOR database. Because a database object represents a real database, it has some properties that persist after the object is deallocated. Similarly some of its properties (e.g. passwords) are "shared" among all users that have database objects; if one user changes the property, it is changed for all users.

Streams of TDTs over a database are a special case -- see dt_stream(3) for details.
