thordbinfo - ask a Thor server to list its databases

Unix Synopsis

thordbinfo [options] [databasename ...]

Description

thordbinfo opens a Thor database and reports information about it, including its name, modification date, "auxiliary" databases (datatypes and indirect), the number of TDTs and cross-references, the number of entries in the hash tables, the autocrunch limit, whether it is marked "HOLD", whether it is read-only, and whether record locking is enforced.

Options

STANDARD THORFILTER OPTIONS:

The following options are common to most or all "thorfilter" programs. They are described in more detail in thorfilters(1).

-SECURE_PASSWORDS TRUE|FALSE

TRUE means don't allow passwords on the command line (require interactive entry). Default: TRUE.
-THOR_IPC_SERVICE service
Names the default TCP/IP service or "port" of the Thor server. Default: thor.

Return Value

Return status is zero if the listing succeeds, or zero if it fails.
