   1. MACOS REQUIREMENTS 

   The 4.91 MacOS Beta release for Daylight software needs the following:

     o) A Mac running OS X 10.3.

   NOTE:  Version 4.91 is a "beta" release, meaning that it
   is officially unsupported (although we'll do our best to help those
   who want to try it out).  It is available for evaluation purposes
   only and is not for sale at this time.  If we decide to support
   the Macintosh fully then it will become available for sale.

   Our decision of whether or not to support the Macintosh fully will
   depend on the interest and feedback we get from the users.  If you
   are interested in the Macintosh port of the toolkits and programs,

   2. LIMITATIONS

   There are a few components of the Daylight software which are
   not, at this time, available in the Mac OS beta release:

   The xview-based graphical programs and widgets have not
   been ported.
 
   The fortran wrappers are not supported on the Mac.

   The contrib program DayPerl is not configured to run on the mac.
